Jessica Nikic is a contemporary realist painter who, as an avid traveler, her colorful paintings pay homage to all the places she has been. Her distinctive personal style emanates joy and peace and expresses a vibrant spirit of her portraiture subjects. From a young age, she had many dreams- from being a pig farmer to an eye doctor to a comedian, yet one always stuck with her - an artist. Jessica has studied fine arts at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY, and then onto The University of the Art in Philadelphia, PA. She later received a job sailing the seven seas working as an Art Gallery director selling artwork from Rembrandt to Peter Max. All along, Jessica was always creating and studying her craft. She is now living in Rochester, NY, with her husband, whom she met while selling artwork all over the world, with her son Theo and daughter Luna.
